Towel Day is celebrated on May 25th as a tribute to the late author Douglas Adams (1952-2001), when fans around the universe proudly carry a towel in his honor, because one must always know where ones towel is.

This year I have two towels in the collection to choose from. The first and older one is a light weight kitchen hand towel sporting some nice picture of Stonehenge, it has severed me well for a number of years. The more resent addition is a much more robust terrycloth Bar towel. Considering the fact that one should always have a pint or two and a lot of peanuts before jumping off, I think the Stonehenge Ales bar towel is the better choice for intergalactic hitchhiking.
