The back reads: RAISING THE PAST AMESBURY, WILTSHIRE, ENGLAND: Dating from the 16th century B.C., Stonehenge the ruined Druid Temple on Salisbury Plain in Amesbury, England, is invaded by modern machinery. The Ministry of Works is erecting a fallen trilithon (Two stones supporting a third, like the structure at extreme right) which fell in 1797. The project is designed to preserve carvings on the stone which have nearly been obliterated by the shoes of sightseers. The temple is believed to have been destroyed by invading Romans.
