Preseli Bluestone Trilithon - Stonehenge

Beautiful gift boxed trilithons, made up of three separate pieces of beautifully marked Preseli Bluestone which have been hand polished to give a very tactile satiny finish. Each trilithon is quite unique.
These Trilithon weigh approximately 20g and will measure about 35mm tall when assembled.

Preseli Bluestone was used to construct the inner rings of Stonehenge. In its raw state the surface has a 'crust' formed as a result of several thousand years of weathering. When broken the inside has a characteristic spotting of white 'stars' - it is thought that the ancients were drawn to these stones partly because of the resemblance to the cosmos. The presence of bluestone may bring vividly detailed and significant dreams .....
It is also said to have immense healing and protective properties and people often find that Bluestone feels warm to the touch.
